A beautiful French Renaissance manor, located in the Perche area (southern Normandy), ends its 500 years long history. Magnificent reception halls, classical ceilings, old authentic stonebuilt staircases, are close to be wrecked. The actual owners, the aristocratic family of Chanceaux (manor and name are still the same !) cannot afford to save this masterpiece located in a regional natural park, surrounded by a 20 acres garden with two ponds. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

However, it is still possible to save the place, if we do not wait too long. We are a group of three friends (architect and consultants), devoted to rebuild Chanceaux as it was. The family now owning the place wants to sell it; we intend to soon create an association which will both raise funds from supporters and quickly open the manor and its garden to the public. By this way, we just need the first help for this project ; then the benefits of the entrance fees will provide the money needs for further improvements. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
